Happy Monday all! I had a wonderful weekend and I'm hoping you all did as well. Space
I spent most of Saturday over at the beautiful shop
Intown Quilters in Decatur. The super sweet owner, Sarah hosted a book signing for me, which was SO much fun! I must say, I had an extreme amount of anxiety over this event. Mainly because I am so ridiculously shy when it comes to talking to people face to face. *faints* Really, it's that bad. Like it makes my back hurt. lol So if you've ever met me and you wondering 'what the heck is wrong with her?' there's your answer. :P

I just keep forgetting how wonderfully warm and friendly everyone in our crafty community is and realized that I really had nothing to worry about. I met so many wonderful people. Thank you to everyone who dropped by to see me! ^_^Space

I also had the awesome opportunity of teaching a class later that evening. A great group of ladies from the
ATL Modern Quilt Guild dropped in to spend some time with shy, nervous, fainting, yours truly to learn to make the quilt in the photo above. (There's a pattern in the works for this quilt, so stay tuned!) I have never taught a class before, so I thought I would probably end up making a total a** of myself. But I didn't! At least I think I didn't. We'll leave that up to the
ATLMQG to decide. :P But I had a really great time showing them what I know and getting to know them all! A really great group! Thank you for hanging out with me ladies!
