How darn cute is this little guy? THE cutest of course! (Giveaway anyone? Keep reading. ^_~)
This handsome little fellow was lovingly and graciously designed for me by the super talented ladies over at the Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery! Haven't heard of this precious store? Well where have you been?! Run over and take a look at all the sweetness, it'll give you the only toothache that you will be happy to have. So darn cute! ^_^
I fell in love with Amanda and Ashleigh's cross stitches and thought that my CuteBots and Flower Pots would be so adorable as cross-stitch patterns.
Lucky for us, they agreed. I'm so excited with how they turned out! That's because Amanda and Ashleigh are super rockstars! Thank you! ^_^ They whipped up these cuties for me right in time for Quilt Market in SLC! AND...AAAAND!! Amanda and Ashleigh are now selling the patterns in their shop! Yahooo!
(Speaking of Amanda, have you checked out the Farmer's Wife Quilt Along she and Angela have organized? Amazing! There is some incredible work being posted on the Flickr page, so do check it out, maybe you'll want to play along? )
They supplied me with 100 of these little guys as freebies for my booth and I've only got 8 left!
So what shall I do with these remaining 8 patterns? Well, share them with my lovely readers, of course! Giveawaaaay! Woot!
I've been self teaching myself embroidery (for quite some time...I'm a little slow. :P)and cross-stitch and I must say I'm loving it all the way! I'm in love with embroidery floss and all of the colors together just make my little heart swoon. It's so hard for me to behave myself and not buy it whenever I see it. It's almost as bad as fabric shopping, but not quite there yet. The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery certainly helped fuel my enthusiasm, so now I'm a stitching fool!
See this pretty box? I made this based off of the Log Cabin Box pattern(minus the log cabin) in my book, I Love Patchwork for my booth at Market using my Damask print.
How perfect is it for storing all my stitching goodies?! I added the seperators and the fleece for the needles. Yay! I have tons more floss to organize, but I'm on my way!
Is any one else hopelessly addicted to cross-stitch and embroidery? Are you a newbie? Have you been stitching forever? Why do you love it? What's your favorite brand of floss? I've become quite smitten with the Cosmo collection by Lecien myself. It's sooooo soft and feels like silk. *swoon* Must. Buy. More. Cosmo. Floss. *blank zombie stare* O_O
Leave a comment to win one of eight Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery's cuties! ^_~
