The Cute-bots and I have returned from Quilt Market and boy are we pooped! It was AMAZING and really just the best time EVER! I'm still floating on cloud 9 from the trip. (Well that and yesterday's post. :P) I loved that I had the chance to meet and hang out with so many of the talented people from the crafty world........Bari J., Monica Solorio-Snow, Kristen Lejnieks, Alissa Haight-Carlton, Jacquie Gering, Thomas Knauer, Jessica Levitt, Karen LePage, Shelly Figueroa, Latifah Saafir, Kristin Link, Mo Bedell, Katy Jones, Heather Jones, Kelle Boyd, and the list just goes on and on!
It was SO awesome to meet all of you and anyone I missed meeting, hopefully we can get together at the next show! *sigh* Such a great time!
The sea of booths and fabulousness.........
My little slice of the fabu.............
I was glued to my little booth most of the time so I have very few pics, but there are a plethora of pics around the web from other bloggers. Here are a few of the lovelies I sewed for the show. Click on the image for a larger view......
My labor of love was this lap quilt. I barely got to show it off as there just wasn't enough room for it in the booth. (I shared a booth with super talented and super sweet Monica Lee. Her new line is adorable! ) You can't really see the detail from this photo, but it's made entirely of triangles. This was a first for me and I'm now officially in love with triangle quilts! There's a pattern in the works for this! Woohoo!
Here's a shot of me basting it...... oh how I love this quilt. ^_^
The business cards I made for the show.....
AND the best of all is this cross stitch pattern from super rockstar Amanda!
How darn cute is this?!?! She made a huge stack of them for me to give out as freebies at my booth. The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery has created a new line of some adorable cross stitch patterns featuring my CuteBots and Flower pots! Yippeee!! I can't wait for their debut, so exciting!
And a few candids......
Me and Sweet Hot Yam, Traci ....She's trying to keep all the Cutebots for herself! :P Meanwhile, I love that the term 'Sweet Hot Yam' is in the Urban Dictionary!
Me with Sarah Phillips and Mary Abreu...my ATL peeps!......Mary is practically my neighbor and Sarah owns Intown Quilters in Decatur.
I had such an amazing time and I'm so, so very grateful to Timeless Treasures for giving me this wonderful opportunity! I really hope you like the line, they did an incredible job with it and I'm so pleased. Quilt Market was just such an incredible experience and an ABSOLUTE dream come true for me. I can't wait until Fall Market! Woohoo!
