We're here! Yay! ^_^ We arrived in Atlanta on Saturday and I'm just getting around to posting about it because I've been too busy enjoying all of this fresh air and Southern hospitality! 
We left New Jersey at about 10am on Friday and began our little journey down South.

Yup, Virginia.
This is exactly how I'd like to remember you. A blur. It took FOR-EVER for us to get through Virginia. Love all of my VA
peeps, but the traffic in your state......*shakes head* I hope I never
have to drive through there again! EVER! :P
Another pit stop. This sign at the gas station gave us a good idea of where we had been and how much longer we had to go! 168 miles to my friends house in Greensboro, NC and it was already dark. Curse you Virginia! (544 miles to Atlanta! *faints*)
We finally arrived at Darlene's lovely home at about 9 in the evening....
a short but sweet visit. We have not seen each other since 1994 when we graduated high school!
I think we're still as cute as we were back then, but our uniforms are probably just a tad bit snugger. :P
Yay! South Carolina! ^_^ Almost there!

We made it safely with no problems. (Just Virgina. :P)
Thank you, thank you for all of your emails, comments, and prayers. They came along with us the entire trip and I'm ever so grateful for them. I still have some new Atlanta bloggy buddies to contact, so if you emailed me and I haven't responded yet, I'm working my way down the list!
