Thank you everyone for the warm welcome back!  I must say that I truly missed every one of my bloggy buddies.  I can't believe how much I've missed in blogland.  I have to admit that I'm thoroughly addicted to the internet and had to rip myself away so that I could focus and get all my work done. I just logged onto my bloglines and I have 5,229 unread posts!! *faints* Looks like everyone's been quite busy indeed!  Can't wait to get caught up with what everyone is up to.  

In the meantime I thought I'd share some little lovelies that I acquired recently. I bought mine the unfortunately closed Kalena Studio, but she's a new mama so I'll allow it. :P  But I've listed some other great places to get them below.

I'm sure you've all noticed the lacy crochet doily thing that's been happening. We've all seen them in our beloved Japanese craft books.  I must admit that I'm smitten!  I know I'm not alone in my love for these crocheted pretties.  Crochet trim and doilies make me utterly and divinely happy!

I say bold because these books are in Japanese and I'm not sure how easy or difficult they are to follow. This is one technique I have yet to try and tackle...but I would love to try to make my own one day.....

Oh! I got this trim from Kalena Studio too....but if I find a new place to get some I'll let you know. Anyone have some ideas for it?  I'm thinking some cute linen capris with this on the bottom of the legs for my Bella.  *whispers* I don't know who told that little lamb he could put his little feet all over my new trim. Hmmph. 

The Chase

In the midst of unpacking, the kids were finally playing peacefully after fighting over a book all morning.  I just happened to have the camera in my hand when they started up again.......

Hard to believe I haven't posted since February! Where the heck did March go?! Sheesh. 

So much has happened in the last two months.  We've moved from the Big Apple and we are officially New Jersey residents now....

....we were fortunate enough to find an apartment just 25 mins from the city in a little town in New Joisey.  Cheaper rent, waaay bigger apartment and some amenities that I've learned to live without in the past 3 years in our old place.  

No dishwasher + 2 babies born in the past 3 years = Therapy  

We finally have a dishwasher!!!  I still have to pop a bottle of champagne to celebrate that. 

The above pic is shot from the living room, so I guess that's technically the dining room you're seeing.  Every room has wall to wall windows and we're on the 20th floor.  The view is ridiculous!  I'll certainly miss the courtyard view we had in the city, but I'm sure not for very long. It's rainy today so the view is a bit cloudy.  Normally you can see some mountains...hills?  Something. ^_^

 

So needless to say I've been busy unpacking and also, writing,sewing, drawing some final things for the bookety book!  The photos look awesome! Interweave has really done an awesome job. It's in the editing process now and should be done soon.  I can't even begin to tell you how exhausted I am from the whole process right now.  So I'll save that for another post!  But I'm simply BURSTING to show you the projects I've made....but you'll just have to wait!
